      COVID - 19

The Waunakee Girls Lacrosse Club gets its direction from the Badgerland Lacrosse Association along with Waunakee Community School district and the Village of Waunakee.  Below is a statement from the  Badgerland Lacrosse Association

The health and safety of all members of our lacrosse family is of the utmost concern to the Badgerland Lacrosse Association. As we all navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 in our lives, the BLA Board is monitoring the situation closely and working with our partners; including the Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation, US Lacrosse, member teams, officials, schools and other leagues.

The Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation issued the following statement

“All practices, scrimmages, games and coaches’ contacts in the state are postponed until at least April 6, 2020. All high school lacrosse clubs, whether associated with a school, multiple schools or independent must stop all in-person activities. Additionally, coaches and club organizers should not encourage independent gatherings such as captain’s practices.”

Following the guidelines of WLF, no youth or high school teams in BLA should be holding practices, scrimmages or games until at least April 6, 2020. As this date nears closer, more information will be available as to when teams can resume their season. Until further notice.

Our priority is to keep each other safe and healthy while slowing the spread of this virus. The lacrosse community in Wisconsin is strong and resilient, and BLA is confident that we will all get through this together. As always, please contact us with any questions or concerns.
